Last Thursday I got a chance to go for drinks with two wonderful women, Laura and Jackie. It had been extremely overdue as Laura and I only live 20 mins away from one another, but see each other more at events where we have drove 2-3 hours to get to!
Jackie was in town for some meetings, and we decided that it was time to have a girls get together. That day Jackie had lost her 40lbs that she vowed to shed before a big birthday coming up. Great work on doing it Jackie, and 4 months early too!
Laura filled us in on the happenings at the Mader baby shower, her adventures as a home owner and a few of her adventures when it came to shoe shopping.
It was so nice to just get out of the house, sit on the patio and have a few drinks. A great way to spend a Thursday evening!

Sounds like a blast! Congrats to Jacci - WOW!! Also Stacy wanted to respond on your question about how much the shoes went for at the auction - it was actually a raffle - you bought tickets for the chance to win!
