Day in the Park

Earlier this week I mentioned that "the Eng" and I went and got lost in the Edmonton Corn Maze, we had a great time, but before that we headed to William Hawrelak Park for a surprise picnic.

I love Hawrelak Park. It is always so peaceful and quiet, which is a nice break from the city.

The lake is really pretty and a great place to go skating in the winter, or paddle boating in the summer. This trip though we went for a picnic!

Nothing better then a few sandwiches, veggies, cookies and a beer on a hot summer day in the park!
